— By the numbers: The Future of Free Speech, an independent think tank at Vanderbilt University, kicked off its comments arguing that conservative voices — including accounts, influencers and news sources — outperform on social media platforms.
“From engagement metrics on Facebook to favorable algorithmic treatment on X (formerly Twitter) … the data consistently contradicts anecdotal claims about the systemic suppression of conservative voices,” it wrote. It added that Trump’s “unmatched” social media presence, where he significantly outpaces his political rivals, is just one example of how platforms respond to behavior and broader shifts in public discourse.
