Ajdin Muratovic

Director of Communications

Ajdin Muratovic is the Director of Communications at The Future of Free Speech. He was previously an International Broadcaster and Multimedia Producer at Voice of America (VOA). He has extensive experience engaging policymakers and scholars, and was recognized by VOA for his contributions to U.S. programming.
Ajdin holds an M.A. in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Bologna (Italy) and St. Petersburg State University (Russia). He double-majored in International Relations and Russian and East European Studies at the University of Virginia. He chairs the Arlington County Transportation Commission and is an active member of the Council on Foreign Relations and the Truman National Security Project.
Beyond his professional credentials, Ajdin’s personal commitment to free expression is shaped by his own history and his study of authoritarian systems.
